Global media and broadcast strategy for Third Bridge

About

Third Bridge is a leading global investment research firm. For nearly 20 years, its worldwide team accelerates and enhances decision-making for investors and business leaders by unearthing unique expert insights across multiple sectors, geographies, and topics.

The Brief

Third Bridge had an established media programme, regularly pitching expert commentary from its global network of investment analysts around key corporate earnings reports. This provided a strong foundation for media engagement, with a deep bench of credible voices and insight to draw from.

Amid a tough competitive landscape for investor research services, Third Bridge recognised that its PR activity could evolve from effective to truly influential with the right guidance and smart execution from a comms partner. We needed to sharpen and structure this activity to build greater brand awareness, credibility and share of voice over competitors.

To do this, commentary needed to be more proactive, more strategic and distinctive, and deliver greater value through longer form thought leadership. At the same time, there was a need to ensure this output consistently built the Third Bridge brand, positioning its analysts as a unified expert resource rather than a collection of individual voices.

Our Work

Rosely Group shifted the business’ comms approach from routine and reactive, post-earnings commentary to a proactive and forward-looking model, putting thought leadership across multiple industry sectors front and centre. This allowed Third Bridge to lead conversations rather than respond to them. With this approach, major media titles including Reuters, BNN Bloomberg and Schwab, now directly seek out commentary from Third Bridge analysts.

We positioned the company’s analysts as visible representatives of the brand, working with individuals to amplify their expertise while always tying back to the company brand and messaging. As part of this programme of work, we delivered comprehensive media training, preparing select spokespeople to be broadcast-ready - for both live TV appearances and podcast guest appearances.

With Third Bridge’s international presence and market growth, we have expanded our media strategy to include longer-form thought leadership across the UK, US and Asia.

Alongside media activity, we provided ongoing strategic communications support. Our work has included advisory on refining brand messaging inline with repositioning efforts.

Results

The programme delivered a significant uplift in both volume and quality of international coverage, with the company securing more prominent and higher-value opportunities. In 16 months of working together, we have secured over 1100 pieces of global news coverage (an average of 69 per month).

This included broadcast appearances, TV commentary around earnings, and placements in top-tier outlets such as Forbes. Journalists increasingly approach Third Bridge directly for insight, demonstrating its growing authority in the space.

The scope of activity has also expanded geographically, growing from an initial UK and US focus to include Asia, supporting the brand’s wider international presence.
