The Brief
Pollinate commissioned original research and generated a large survey dataset with business critical information. However, the research wasn’t shaped around a specific campaign narrative. Our challenge was to find the story in the data that supported business growth. We were trusted to mine the survey results, grasp Pollinate’s tone of voice and prepare a circa 4,000 word report to be used as a key pillar of their marketing and business development campaign to enter the US market.
Writing the Report
How we approached the project:
Analyse & Draft: We reviewed the full dataset and developed a narrative arc which explored the key themes, exposed the acute challenges of banking infrastructure and positioned Pollinate as the solution.
Expand: With the proposed narrative approved, we worked on the finer details including prose and matching tone of voice.
Design: For the design work, we worked hand-in-hand with Pollinate’s internal design team to deliver on brand guidelines and finalise the report and accompanying assets.
PR: To launch the report, we prepared a press release to circulate to target media outlets, thought leadership articles exploring key themes within the article, and social media posts for company spokespeople.
Reporting: To close out the project, we collated a full ROI report to demonstrate immediate and longer-term value of the content campaign from owned and earned channels.
Results
Our PR distribution earned coverage in key target business publications including Forbes and Banking Dive.
The report successfully launched Pollinate into the US and delivered on the key objective of driving new business conversations with Tier 1 Banks in the US.
